\nTrue story.\u00a0 In 2003, my husband Keith and I were meeting with a marriage counselor. At one point late in the session the counselor said to me, \u201cI know what Andy Stanley thinks.\u00a0 What does Susan Conley think?\u201d\u00a0 It was in that \u201cwhoa moment\u201d that I realized I\u2019d put Andy Stanley on too high a pedestal.\u00a0 But you have to understand, Andy Stanley was used by God in mighty ways when I hit ROCKbottom<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0 I am forever grateful to him!<\/p>\n

In 2001, Keith and I were church shopping.\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 My personal trainer at the time suggested North Point Community Church.\u00a0 We visited in June of that year.\u00a0 After the shock wore off from the church\u2019s sheer size, contagious energy, rockin\u2019 music, simple service format and the jumbo video screens, we settled in to learn from one of the best communicators of our time.\u00a0 Andy Stanley helped me connect all the dots.\u00a0 Dots my religion just couldn\u2019t connect.\u00a0 The notion of a growing relationship with Jesus Christ was brand new to me.\u00a0 North Point\u2019s mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.\u00a0\u00a0 Mission accomplished when it comes to me.\u00a0 Andy\u2019s simply profound messages week in and week out coupled with my own Bible study during the week, prompted me to get baptized in December 2001 and join the church.\u00a0 It was the most peace-filled day of my life.<\/p>\n
