<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> By this time, I\u2019d been studying the Bible for three years and one of my favorite verses came to mind: <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cYou will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. By 2004, after a lifetime of religion, I was enjoying the freedom found in a relationship with Christ so I connected some dots\u2026 <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHey \u2013 this sorta describes Christians who stand on the ROCK Eternal and cultivate a relationship with Him that ROCKS.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHhhhmmm \u2013 cool double meaning of ROC<\/em>K.\u201d<\/p>\n I kept thinking\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cWhat if we as Christians were no longer known for what we are against but rather what we are for?\u00a0 What if we became solely known for whom we trust and how we emulate and celebrate the Lord the ROCK Eternal?”<\/em><\/p>\n I tucked my thoughts away but based on a drawing I discovered in my scrapbooking closet, I thought about it again in 2006:<\/p>\n <\/a> A few years later, when I felt this was becoming more of a calling than just a scrapbooking sticker, I filed for a trademark to see if anyone else owned the mark we<\/em>ROCK.\u00a0 Why develop the idea if someone else owned the name?\u00a0 I filed and I waited.<\/p>\n My team of doctors released me back to work December 2008 just in time for the global market meltdown.\u00a0 The shrinking economy left no capacity for me to return to the position I held prior to my long-term disability leave.\u00a0 I was stunned.<\/p>\n But as with all things God originates \u2013 God orchestrates.\u00a0 I received in the mail a letter dated March 6, 2009, from the United States Patent & Trademark Office.\u00a0 It was an acceptance letter stating that I could register the mark.<\/p>\n Given I\u2019m a former Bored, Bible-Blind Believer who discovered that it\u2019s the relationship not the religion that ROCKS, I wanted to share my message of victory.\u00a0\u00a0 At this point, I\u2019d already been invited to share my story six times so I was ready to go.\u00a0 When thinking through who I wanted to share my story with, it wasn\u2019t tough for me to expand my \u201cB-BELIEVER\u201d list as I call it because I know and love people in all of these categories.<\/p>\n THE 5B BELIEVERS:<\/span><\/strong> Bible-Blind Believer<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 the shrink-wrap is still on the Bible you purchased and\/or your heart is shrink-wrapped preventing any longing for God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n Badly Bruised Believer<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 you\u2019re still healing from the deep hurt inflicted by the harsh judgment and condemnation from self-righteous so-called Christians.<\/p>\n Been There Done That Believer<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 the hypocrisy in the church finally pushed you over the edge so you packed your bags and put God in the rearview mirror.<\/p>\n Believers In Other Forces <\/strong><\/span>–\u00a0 you put your trust in a force that you can name (or maybe not) but it\u2019s not God the Father that the Christians talk about. I pray we<\/em>ROCK can be a catalyst in people\u2019s hearts and lives to expand God\u2019s Kingdom one person at a time.\u00a0 And this story will have the happiest of endings.\u00a0 \u201cAnd those who ROCKed lived happily ever after.\u00a0 As in forever!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/a>nce upon a time, in a land not so far away, the first spark was ignited for what would become we<\/em>ROCK.\u00a0 I was putting together a family photo album in 2004.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It\u2019s the fancy schmancy kind of scrapbooking with specialty stickers, textured paper and detailed journaling.\u00a0 This hobby soothed my aching self when I was really sick.\u00a0 My body had stopped but not my mind.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the sticker that got me thinking:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nTrust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the ROCK Eternal.\u201d

\nBored Believer<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 your pew mates in church keep it quiet; they don\u2019t want to wake you.\u00a0 They are even tempted to check for a pulse. Your faith experience is a big snooze.<\/p>\n
