<\/p>\n

If you plant pumpkin seeds you expect to harvest pumpkins.
\nIf you sow corn seeds you will reap corn.
\nApple seeds will yield a harvest of apples.<\/p>\n

The principle of sowing and reaping is a simple truth.\u00a0 Yet in life, love and relationships we tend to overcomplicate it.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because when we fully grasp the simplicity of the principle we lose our right to complain, blame and rattle off our long list of excuses.\u00a0 We are forced to examine how it is we are planting the same seeds over and over again, day after day, yet expecting a different harvest.\u00a0 Too often we plant apple seeds and hope for corn. Want a different harvest in your life?\u00a0 Plant different seeds.<\/p>\n

Galatians 6:7 breaks it down, \u201cDo not be deceived; God cannot be mocked.\u00a0 A man reaps what he sows.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0 All of our actions and words have consequences.\u00a0 All of our actions and words determine our harvest.\u00a0 Words of life produce life.\u00a0 Words of death produce destruction.\u00a0 Purposeful actions move you closer to your dreams.\u00a0 Lack of action keeps you stuck and distant from your desired harvest.<\/p>\n

This principle was in play for me when I watched the Olympic Games this past summer.\u00a0 I marveled at the beautifully sculpted bodies of the athletes who competed for gold.\u00a0 I wanted and wished for a body just like that.\u00a0 Yet check out the stats I posted:<\/p>\n

[ ] Opening Ceremonies were enjoyed with Baskin Robbins chocolate peanut butter chunk ice cream.
\n[ ] The women\u2019s gymnastics team takes the all-around gold.\u00a0 I watch the victory with a plate of cheesy nachos\u2026topped with lettuce and tomato to score a few healthy points.
\n[ ] Closing Ceremonies were accompanied by a pint of Starbucks Classic Coffee ice cream.<\/p>\n

I rest my case.\u00a0 The principle of sowing and reaping is painfully simple.<\/p>\n

\u201cServe the Lord with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind.\u00a0 If you seek Him, he will be found by you.\u00a0 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you.\u00a0 Be strong and DO THE WORK<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0 1 Chronicles 28: 9-10.<\/p>\n

Isn\u2019t it time to put down the proverbial ice cream and do the work required?<\/p>\n

May we allow the ROCK Eternal to plant His seeds deep within our hearts.\u00a0 May we \u201chear the word and accept it, and produce a crop \u2013 thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0 Mark 4:20<\/p>\n

Now that\u2019s a return and harvest only the Most High God can make possible for you.\u00a0 He created you for a very specific harvest.\u00a0 Check in with Him often and surely He\u2019ll reveal the seeds for you to plant today and every day.\u00a0 \u201cI am the vine; you are the branches.\u00a0 If you abide in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 John 15: 5.\u00a0 Remain in Him and you\u2019ll experience the joy of an abundant ROCKalicious<\/em> harvest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
